Stop cancer: Get moving

02/01/2018

Physical activity is not only a great way to maintain flexibility and muscular fitness, studies have recently revealed a correlation between physical activity and a decrease in certain forms of cancer.

There is no need to undertake an Olympic training program regimen in order to benefit from these positive effects; simply walking as often as possible during your typical day and taking the stairs instead of the elevator at home or work can be enough.
A recent study also reported that being moderately active, for example walking for 3 to 5 hours per week, significantly reduced mortality in women suffering from breast cancer.
