Take care with dietary supplements

30/11/2017

The use of dietary supplements is based on the principle that if something is beneficial for one’s health, a larger dose of a substance will increase its benefits.

Take note: This is completely false! Several studies have even shown that the opposite is true, particularly in the case of soy. It has been demonstrated that the active ingredient of soy is less beneficial, harmful even, when administered in isolation, as opposed to in the context of whole foods.
Despite the cult of dietary supplements developing in the West, eating a fresh, juicy orange turns out to be significantly better for you than taking vitamin C pills.
