The use of wood-burning stoves and fireplaces may be more economical than protective of the environment and our health. It has been associated with an increased risk of certain respiratory problems and an elevated risk of lung cancer.

For the first time, a ๐ซ๐ž๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ on American women has shown that the use of fireplaces and wood-burning stoves ๐ข๐ง๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ค ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ง๐  ๐œ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž๐ซ ๐›๐ฒ ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ‘%, compared with those who did not use wood heaters.
