How to reduce eye fatigue?

Do you work using a screen? Do you find your eyes misting over at the end of the day when looking far away, becoming dry and irritated? You’re probably suffering from eye strain. Here are some tips for what to do.

First of all, it’s a good idea to check you don’t have any real vision problems and, if you do, to get effective treatment. Next, think about following these rules while you’re working.

Your computer screen should be at least an arm’s length away from you. Also, limit how much daylight is reflected on the screen. Then, look away from your screen every hour to focus on the far distance for a few minutes. Finally, purposefully blinking more from time to time can help, too.

There are also some "eye gymnastics" exercises you can try. Hold a pen in your outstretched arm and focus on it while bringing it towards your nose, then repeat. Your doctor can also prescribe you some eye drops should you need.
