Why coffee is good for you

As the second most popular drink in the world after water, coffee is known for its great health benefits, and for good reason…

It’s many people’s favourite morning drink, helps wake us up and stimulates our body and mind. Still, as recently as two decades ago we believed that drinking coffee had serious side effects due to its high caffeine content.
Today, research has shown that moderate consumption of coffee has a number of health benefits for the body thanks to its nutritional merits. Coffee is rich in antioxidants, protecting the liver, one of the body’s most important organs, and helping maintain brain health, even offering beauty benefits!
Of course, as with all good things, coffee should be drunk in moderation to avoid any side effects, such as preventing you from sleeping. Some people are hypersensitive to caffeine, too, and so should be particularly careful.
